Unknown juvenile?

No idea on what this bird is -- I think it's a juvenile of some sort, but don't really know.  He was sitting on my deck railing this evening, and I've seen him off and on today...  He doesn't fly really well, but does indeed fly, and just looks generally fuzzy.  Any ideas?

Need Help 3 Birds!!!!!!

I need some ID help. I had a prolific day the other day(Golden Eagle Day) and I have a few birds I need to be positive about before doing my ebird observations. Big Thanks to my wife for the help in getting better picture links!

Pic3 - Llano Seco, Northern California. One of the ponds is draining and we are getting some new shorebirds. The bird on left is a Black Necked Stilt. On the right I am not sure. Could it be a Virginia Rail???

Pic2- Llano Seco, Northern California Could this be a Long Billed Curlew??

Pic1- Aqua Frias Road, NorCal. Are these Western Tanagers? Jay sized or slightly smaller. Male had a reddish orange head and yellow green body.Female was dull green yellow. This is farm country near the Sac River
